Your account, your choice
Ready to leave?
You can delete your Student Studio account in the app, or request deletion here if you no longer have access to it.
Delete your account in the app
- Sign in to the Student Studio account you want to delete.
- Open your profile, then Settings.
- Select Account & security.
- Open Security, choose Delete account, and follow the confirmation steps.
Account deletion is permanent. Save anything you want to keep and make arrangements for any upcoming services before confirming. Uninstalling the app or signing out does not delete your account.
Request deletion without the app
Email support@studentstudio.app with the subject “Delete my Student Studio account”. Send the request from your account’s email address when possible, and include your display name and campus so we can identify the account.
Request account deletionThis opens a draft in your email app. Send the email to submit your request. If no email app opens, use the address and subject above in your preferred email service.
We may need to verify that you own the account before acting on a request. If you cannot use the original email address, explain that in your message. Never send your password, one-time sign-in codes, or payment details.
What gets deleted
Deletion removes your sign-in account and starts background cleanup of the data associated with it in Student Studio, including:
- Your app profile, chosen campus, bio, and optional contact details.
- Your service listings and uploaded listing photos.
- Your conversations and their messages, including the shared conversation history.
- Your booking requests and agreements, and records of blocked profiles.
- Your notification token and queued app notifications.
Cleanup runs in the background and may take time to finish. It can continue after you close the app. Deleting an account does not reverse a payment or settle an agreement made directly with another student. A later sign-up creates a new account and does not restore deleted data.
Information that may remain
Safety and abuse reports are retained separately so concerns can still be investigated after an account is deleted. These records may include the report reason, a summary of the reported content, internal account and content identifiers, review status, and deletion markers.
Operational records and copies held by service providers may follow separate retention processes or legal requirements. Information another person has independently saved is outside the app’s deletion process. See our privacy policy for details, or contact us about the information that applies to your account.
Only need help with some of your information?
You can edit profile details and remove your listings in the app. For other privacy or data requests, email support and describe what you would like to change or remove. This does not require you to request full account deletion.
