These terms apply to the Student Studio mobile app, this website, and related services operated by The Student Studio ("Student Studio," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Who can use Student Studio

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. Student Studio is built for college and university communities. Choose your own campus and provide accurate account and profile information. Choosing a campus does not mean that Student Studio has verified your enrollment, identity, qualifications, or affiliation with that institution.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in information secure and for activity under your account. Do not impersonate another person, misrepresent your identity, or use someone else's account without permission. Keep your account information up to date and contact support@studentstudio.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

A place to connect

Student Studio helps students discover services, publish listings, exchange messages, and request bookings. The student offering a service is responsible for that service. Student Studio is not a party to an agreement between users and does not employ, supervise, endorse, or guarantee a service provider or their work.

Review a listing, ask questions, and agree on the scope, timing, location, price, payment method, and any cancellation or refund arrangements directly with the other person before proceeding. A booking request is a request until the seller confirms it. You remain responsible for your interactions and arrangements with other users.

Prices and payment

At launch, browsing, publishing listings, messaging, and booking requests are free. Sellers set their service prices. Student Studio does not process payments or provide in-app checkout, and takes no platform commission at launch. Payment, refunds, and payment disputes are handled directly between the people involved or through their chosen payment provider.

Sellers are responsible for complying with laws, licensing requirements, campus rules, and tax obligations applicable to their services. Student Studio does not determine whether a particular service is permitted by your institution or whether a provider holds a required qualification.

Listings and content

Post only content you have the right to share. Your listings, profile, images, messages, and booking information must be accurate and must not infringe another person's privacy, intellectual property, or other rights. Keep service descriptions and prices accurate. Do not claim credentials, results, or affiliations you do not have.

You retain ownership of the content you create. By submitting it, you allow Student Studio and its service providers to host, store, process, reproduce, and display it as needed to operate, maintain, and moderate the service. Public profile and listing information is visible to other users. Our privacy policy explains how personal information is handled.

Student Studio's name, branding, software, and other original service materials belong to us or our licensors. Your access to the app does not transfer ownership of those materials.

Respect the community

You may not use Student Studio to:

• Harass, threaten, exploit, discriminate against, or deceive another person.
• Post scams, impersonation, stolen goods, fake documents, or misleading listings.
• Offer academic cheating, exam-taking, or work intended to be submitted as someone else's.
• Offer controlled substances, weapons, sexual services, alcohol, tobacco, vaping products, or other prohibited or unlawful services or goods.
• Create, share, solicit, or promote child sexual abuse or exploitation, including grooming, sextortion, and child sexual abuse material.
• Share private information without permission, send spam, or misuse another user's content.
• Interfere with the service, bypass access controls, introduce harmful software, or use automated access in a way that compromises the service or other users.

See our child safety standards for reporting information. The app also lets you report listings, profiles, and messages, and block other users.

Review and enforcement

Listings are subject to automated review before publication. We may review reported content, remove or restrict content, and suspend or terminate access when needed to address violations, abuse, security concerns, or legal requirements. Automated review does not guarantee the accuracy, legality, safety, or quality of a listing or service.

If you believe content or your account was restricted in error, contact support@studentstudio.app with the details so we can review the issue. Do not evade a restriction by impersonating someone else or creating accounts for abusive activity.

Leaving Student Studio

You can stop using the service at any time. You can delete your account in the app or request deletion through our account-deletion page. Deleting your account does not cancel obligations you independently agreed to with another user. Our privacy policy explains the information removed and the limited records that may be retained.

Availability and responsibility

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We cannot guarantee continuous availability, error-free operation, or the accuracy of content supplied by users. Features may change or become unavailable. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim implied warranties relating to the service, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Exercise care when communicating with or meeting other users. Student Studio does not guarantee the conduct of another user or the outcome of an arrangement between users. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

App stores and third-party services

Your use of the app is also subject to the applicable app store's terms and device usage rules. Student Studio is responsible for the app and its support; Apple and Google are not responsible for providing Student Studio support. Third-party sign-in and payment services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

Updates and questions

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will update the date on this page and provide notice of material changes where required. If you no longer agree to the terms, stop using the service. For a concern about Student Studio or these terms, contact us so we can try to resolve it.
